Thalia – Queen of Latin Pop Icon

We are very honored to have the Queen of Latin Pop Icon, Thalia to celebrate our 13th Year Anniversary.

Throughout her unparalleled career, Thalia has always been known as an inspirational artist. Thalia is a singer-songwriter, actress, businesswoman, author, fashion designer, and social media influencer. She is the most prominent telenovela actress in Mexico, with a vast international following. Her soap operas have been translated into many different languages and have aired in more than 180 countries, reaching audiences of more than two billion people.

Thalia is known as the Queen of Latin Pop and is considered one of the most successful solo Mexican artists by Univision and Telemundo. The singer has collaborated with high-profile artists such as Marc Anthony, Michael Bublé, Tony Bennett, Robbie Williams, and more. She has been included on People magazine’s list of Most Beautiful People, a record 13 times and has been in the Top 25 of People En Español’s Most Powerful Latinas. In 2013, she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Her releases “Amore Mio” (2014) and “Latina” (2016) ranked # 1 on the iTunes charts. Likewise, they reached the # 1 position in sales at an international level including Mexico, the United States and Latin Ame rica. “Valiente” (2018) was her fourth consecutive album to seize the top of the charts, peaking at #1 on Billboard’s “Top Latin Albums.” It has also been certified Platinum in the United States and Gold in Mexico by the RIAA. It included top hits like “Lento” with Gente de Zona, “Me Oyes, Me Escuchas” and “No Me Recuerdo” with Natti Natasha. The latter was certified 4x Platinum in the United States, 3x Platinum in Mexico, and 2x Platinum in Spain.

Thalia has become the most viewed female Mexican solo artist of all time on YouTube, with more than 5 billion views on her channel. “No Me Acuerdo” has been one of her most successful hits, amassing more than 1.2 billion views. Similarly, her collaboration with Maluma, “Desde Esa Noche” (2014), also surpassed one billion views on YouTube, combining the views on the live presentation at Premios Lo Nuestro 2016 (906M + views) with those of the official video (213M+ views).

Thalia released her long – awaited second children’s music album, “Viva Kids Vol.2,” which became an international hit among children and their families. With this album, the artist allied with Discovery Kids to create exclusive and interactive content for “Viva Kids Vol. 2,” the content is shared via their programming and digital platforms internationally. Later that year, Thalia premiered a 6 – episode digital series called, “Latin Music Queens,” exclusively via Facebook Watch. From this series hersingles “Ten Cuidao” with Farina, and the worldwide success of “Tick Tock” with Farina and Sofia Reyes were born. The latter trended internationally and entered the Billboard “Latin Pop Airplay” chart.

Starting 2021 in full swing, Thalia made history with her first cover on Vogue Mexico, accompanied by an extensive profile on her musical legacy and her impact on Latin culture across the globe. The singer – songwriter also made a big impact by launching her musical collection, “Thalia: Los Inicios,” which put the first albums of her caree r on digital music platforms for the first time, including “Thalia” (1990), “Mundo de Cristal” (1991), “Love” (1992), and “Marimar” (1994). She also released the special version of her single “Love – Remix”. On iTunes Mexico, her album “Thalia” (1990) dominated at #1, followed by “Love” (1992) at #2 and “Mundo de Cristal” (1991) at #4. Similarly, the album “Thalia” reached #1 on iTunes Brazil and “Mundo de Cristal” #2.

Demonstrating her spot as one of the most prominent musical icons in Latin music, Thalia made an unparalleled impact with the release of her latest album, “desAMORfosis.” During its pre-release alone, “desAMORfosis” became the #1 album on Amazon for its record sales in the “Latin Pop” and “Latin Music” categories. After its premiere, the album reached #1 for physical sales in Mexico for two consecutive weeks, as well as #1 for digital sales globally on iTunes, including the countries of Mexico, USA, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, El Salvador, Spain and Greece.

Later, Thalia presented the world premiere of her single and music video “Mojito” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The song has been an international success that entered the top 20 of the “Latin Pop Airplay” chart. Subsequently, the artist dazzled fans as she graced the cover of Ladygunn and later appeared on the special edition cover of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, celebrating its 10th anniversary.

Thalia has also distinguished herself as an international businesswoman. She counts with a successful clothing and accessories line exclusively sold at Macy’s stores and macys.com. On the other hand, she has a line of eyelash es with Eylure available at Ulta, Walmart, and Sears Mexico. Additionally, she released a line of hair products, Adria by Thalia, which is sold at Walmart stores and select Target stores.

Further expanding her business endeavors, the artist also has a collection of home goods and her own collection of pajamas and intimate apparel available at Burlington stores. More recently, she launched her new Thalia Sodi fragrance collection that is available at Amazon.com, Perfumani a, Macy’s, Burlington, The Fragrance Outlet and other stores in Latin America. In her latest business project Thalia partnered with Motives Cosmetics to launch ThaliaXMotives Viva Eye & Cheek Palette makeup collection and red velvet liquid lipstick, followed by the Besos Palette.

Beyond her art and entrepreneurship, Thalia is a national activist for the March of Dimes, and is UNICEFs Ambassador in Mexico. She also gives her support to Casita María, an extracurricular activities program and service facility for Hispanic children from the South Bronx. Likewise, the artist supports various foundations, including The Robinhood Foundation and St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.

In the same way, the singer conquered social networks with the music video for her latest single “Mojito,” which premiered on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and trended globally with more than 3.4 million views on YouTube. Recently, Thalia made a special presentation of the single on TikTok’s “Suena En” festival, where she captivated an audience of more than 190,000 live viewers. During said festival, she exclusively premiered the music video for her song “Eres Mío,” in which she counted with the stellar participation of the actor and influencer Gil Croes.
